Watch: MS Dhoni relives the old days at a waterfall near Ranchi

MS Dhoni is making the most of his free time. Dhoni was last seen in action during the three-match one-day series against England, which India lost 2-1.

Dhoni returned home while the Test team led by Virat Kohli stayed back in England for a gruelling five-match series.

After coming back to India, Dhoni attended the wedding of former Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel’s daughter with his family in Mumbai and then opted to go retro with his new hairstyle.

The Chennai Super Kings captain also made a promise to learn Tamil before the next edition of the Indian Premier League comes around.

The ‘Captain Cool’ on Sunday posted a video on Instgram captioning it, “With 3 waterfalls around Ranchi, v cd do this whenever v wanted but now to do something like this after more than 10yrs brings back the good old memories.head massage for free.”

In the ODI series in England, Dhoni became the fourth Indian and 12th batsman overall to score 10,000 runs in ODIs.

He also became the third Indian cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid to play 500 international matches when he walked on the field for India’s second T20I vs England. India had won the series 2-1.

Dhoni retired from Test cricket in 2014 and stepped down as India’s limited-overs captain in 2017. His form with the bat has since taken a dip but he continues to be a cult figure in Indian cricket circles.

In a recent survey conducted by YouGov, which undertakes various polls and surveys in their online community of over 4 million people, Dhoni emerged as the top-ranked sportsperson with an admiration score of 7.70 per cent.

Overall, Dhoni was second in the list topped by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who got an admiration score of 11.90 per cent. Former US President Barrack Obama, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ratan Tata, Virat Kohli and Akshay Kumar make up the top 10 of the most admired men in India.

Dhoni will be next seen in action in the Indian colours later this year in the Asia Cup, which starts from September 15 in the UAE.
