“There are over ten Congress leaders from Karnataka stationed at the hotel in Mumbai. Around five rooms are booked by BJP. They are being guarded by people from Karnataka itself. One MLA is being guarded by over five people. Several other groups of four to five people are roaming in and around the whole area to keep a watch on everyone. They have also kept private security guards in the hotel to guard our Congress MLAs. We checked at the reception and tried to find them but got no information,” one of the Congress workers told India Today TV.
Karnataka Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar had on Sunday (January 13) claimed that three Congress MLAs were camping at a hotel in Mumbai in the “company of some BJP leaders”. “We are aware of what has transpired there and how much has been offered to them,” Shivakumar said.
