The saga of fuel price rise continues as the rates rose by 18 paise and 29 paise for petrol and diesel respectively in the capital.

In Mumbai, petrol is selling at Rs 88.12 per litre (18 paise increase) while diesel is at Rs 78.82 (increase of 31 paise) mark.
There has been a steep rise in fuel prices in the last few months which is burning a hole in the common man’s pocket. The opposition has repeatedly trained its guns on the government which has blamed prices of crude oil in the international market.
Government’s move to reduce fuel prices by Rs 2.50 was panned as too little too late.
